This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.03.2017 based on recommendation made by the respondents 2 and 3.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthaiah, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"The respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.03.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order."
