This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Kida-Muttu cultural event scheduled on 15.07.2023 at Santhai Konar Thidal, Ramarajapuram, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 20.06.2023. 2.Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation that was made by the petitioner, on 20.06.2023, seeking permission to conduct Kida-Muttu cultural event. Since the same was not considered so far, this writ petition has been filed. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that for conducting the above said event, the 2/4

petitioner has to approach the Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry Department, Dindigul.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to approach the Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry concerned. Depending upon the order of the above said authority, further steps may be taken by the respondents, within a period of one week thereafter. 6.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
