Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.It is seen from the records that the petitioner has filed a complaint under section 200 of Cr.P.C. read with Section 138 and 142 of the Negotiable Instrument Act in STC No.543 of 2019 praying to take the complaint on file and issue summon to the accused and enquire the matter and convict and sentence the accused in accordance with law and order payment of compensation double the cheque amount under Section 357 of Cr.P.C. and the same is pending for the past one year without any progress. Hence, the petitioner seeks for speedy disposal of the STC No.543 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate - cum - Fast Track Court No.I, Madurai, which is pending at the stage of questioning. 3.No prejudice will be caused to the respondent, if there is a direction for speedy disposal and therefore, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

4.Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the present situation the learned Judicial Magistrate - cum - Fast Track Court No.I, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the matter on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
