ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent, competent authority/Tahsildar in Taluk Office, Tenkasi, Tenkasi District, to consider an application given by the petitioner herein on 25.04.2022, seeking building license for the school of the petitioner under the Tamil Nadu Public Building (Licensing) Act, 1965, for the period from 01.06.2021 till 31.05.2025, though in the writ petition it has been stated as 31.05.2022.

2. The issue is entirely within the purview of the respondent and it would not be proper on the part of this Court to examine any fact and a direction is given to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, make an inspection of the building of the respondent, if required, seek necessary clarification from the petitioner and pass necessary orders. The entire exercise should be completed on or before 31.05.2023.

3. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
