Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to implement the order passed by the third respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.A12/4651/2015 dated 12.01.2016 and to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner for the land to an extent of 2 Acres and 56 cents comprised in Survey Nos.426/1, 426/2, 426/3, 426/4, 426/5, 426/8 and 426/9 situated at Keelapasalai Village, Manamadurai Sub Division, Sivagangai District pursuant to the representation dated 25.11.2016 made by the petitioner herein.

ORDER

According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in Survey Nos. 426/1, 426/2, 426/3, 426/4, 426/5, 426/8 and 426/9 situated at Keelapasalai Village, Manamadurai Sub Division, Sivagangai District, and he purchased the said property from one K.Sekar through a registered sale deed dated 05.04.2013. Thereafter, he filed an application before the third respondent seeking patta in his favour. The third respondent in his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceedings dated 12.01.2016 in e.f.m12/4651/2015 directed the 4th respondent / Zonal Deputy Tahsildar to transfer the patta in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, no order has been passed by the 4th respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order passed by the third respondent Tahsildar, dated 12.01.2016 has become final. In the above circumstances, the 4th respondent should necessarily obey the order passed by the third respondent. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
