ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.22 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police and file final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi within stipulated time by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered FIR in Crime No.22 of 2023 and that the investigation is in progress. Further he would submit that summon was issued to the petitioner to produce the document for the purpose of investigation, but so far, the above said document has not been produced by the petitioner.

4. Let the summon be issued to the petitioner to produce the above said document to the respondent Police. On receiving of summon, the petitioner is directed to produce the above said document, which is in his custody. After production of the said document, investigation shall be completed and file Final Report by the respondent Police before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
