ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct first respondent to give police protection to the petitioners to cut their Seema Karuvel Trees standing in their own land as decided by the judgement of the civil court for one week based on the representation dt.20/6/2022 from the date of receiving the order copy from this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the property is situated in Resurvey No.462/1 measuring 55 cents and Re-survey No.463 measuring 90 cents, in total to the extent of 1 Acre 45 Cents, which belongs to him. It was also confirmed by the Civil suit in O.S. No. 83 of 2008 decree and again it was confirmed in A.S.No.171 of 2011. In the said circumstances they wanted to remove the Seemakaruvelam Trees and the respondents 3 to 6 are preventing the same, hence he has filed the present petition.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2022 is still pending with the second respondent.
4. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
