This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.190 of 2013 dated 27.07.2013 and to file the final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.190 of 2013 which was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 109 and 420 of IPC and even after a lapse of eight years, there is no progress in the case, final report has not been filed before the Court.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that in this case, CD file went missing and it will be traced out by taking proper efforts. Hence, he prays three months time to file a final report. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 5.In view of the above submission, the respondent police is directed to file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the compliance report must be submitted to the Registry thereafter. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
