O R D E R

The petitioner has moved this Court for being provided with adequate police protection. It is stated that her husband had borrowed loans from the private respondents herein on exorbitant interest. Unable to clear the loans, he committed suicide and he had also left behind a suicide note.

2. The petitioner's counsel states that even though the private respondents have collected exorbitant interest, they continue to harass the petitioner even after her husband's death. Hence, she has filed the present Criminal Original Petition.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, on instructions, states that the police enquired into the petitioner's complaint. Statements have been obtained from all the private respondents herein to the effect that their dues have been settled and that they have no further claim against the petitioner or the members of her family.

4. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
