O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein not to harass the petitioner under guise of the enquiry. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is not involved in any other case and he is frequently summoned to appear before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aranthangi and harassed to admit the offence. He would further submit that except a case in Crime No.608 of 2021, no case is pending against the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that for the purpose of serving notice on the petitioner under Section 110 C.P.C, the respondent has approached the petitioner, but he refused to receive the notice. Except that, there is no harassment on the part of the second respondent.

4.Since Section 110 C.P.C proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner, he has to receive the notice and work out his remedy either by appearing before the concerned Revenue https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13696 of 2021 Divisional Officer or challenging the proceedings. So, there is no question of harassment.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
