O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Padmanabhapuram to dispose of C.C.No.315 of 2018 pending on its file within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that even though the case in C.C.No.315 of 2018 has been registered in the year 2018, it is kept pending, without any progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the case is posted on 08.10.2021 for the purpose of serving summons to P.W.1 and P.W.2.

4. On perusal of the B Diary, it shows that the case is pending in the summon stage itself. Hence, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Padmanabhapuram to complete the trial and dispose of C.C.No.315 of 2018 within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13695 of 2021 compliance report must be submitted to the Registry thereafter.

5. With these directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
