Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records on the files of the second respondent pertaining to its order bearing Na.Ka.No.27/2016 dated 11.04.2016 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to renew the licence of draft man by considering the application dated 11.04.2016. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to quash the order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.27/2016 dated 11.04.2016 and to direct the respondents to renew the licence of drafts man by considering his application dated 11.04.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. In the said impugned order dated 11.04.2016, the petitioner's application for renewal of his drafts man licence has been rejected, citing the resolution No.131 dated 29.02.2016, passed by the Panchayat. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. After some arguments, the learned Counsel for the

petitioner submitted that the petitioner is inclined to challenge the Letter No.27/2016 dated 01.04.2016, of the said Panchayat, for which he requires the said order copy, which has not been communicated to him.

5. Such being the case, the second respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the order dated 01.04.2016, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to file appropriate petition before the appellate authority, namely, first respondent, District Collector, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil, within a period of four weeks, thereafter. Status-quo shall be maintained till then.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
