PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to regularize the petitioner's service by considering proposal sent by the second respondent in vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.678 / A7 / 2019, dated 19.03.2020, with all monetary and attended benefits within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court For Petitioner : M/s.V.Muthukamatchi For Respondents : Mr.G.Suriyananth Additional Government Pleader

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner herein was appointed as a Driver on 05.05.2008 on contract basis. When the names of certain similarly placed employees were proposed for regularization through G.O.(Ms).No.69, Health and Family Welfare (AB1) Department, dated 25.02.2020, the petitioner's name has been mistakenly omitted in the list. In this regard, when the petitioner herein had sent a representation, dated 11.03.2020 to the second respondent herein, the same was favourably forwarded with a proposal to the first respondent herein in 2/5
proceedings in Na.Ka.No.678/A7/2019, dated 19.03.2020 and the same is pending.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that if the proposal of the second respondent is directed to be considered, he would be satisfied. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein to consider the proposal of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.678/A7/2019, dated 19.03.2020, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
