Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.08.2016 and provide patta to the petitioner in regard to the properties in Survey No.818/5, 818/7 of Kachirayanpatti Village, which was already given as per proceedings in Na.Ka.No.5394-14-B1, dated 14.11.2015.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.08.2016 to provide patta to the petitioner in respect of the properties in Survey No.818/5, 818/7 of Kachirayanpatti Village, which was already given as per proceedings in Na.Ka.No.5394-14-B1, dated 14.11.2015.

4. According to the petitioner, already patta has been transferred in his name with regard to the above said property.

But, when he approached the Tahsildar to get a copy of the same, the Tahsildar refused to give the same. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation before the second respondent on 23.08.2016. Even then, the second respondent did not consider the request of the petitioner. Hence, he has filed this Writ Petition.

5. In the above circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.08.2016, and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
