PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 25.06.2022 under the criminal law in the light of the dictum laid down by the Honble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Ors. reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1. This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to direct the second respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 25.06.2022 under the criminal law in the light of the dictum laid down by the Honble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Ors. reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.20222 was received by the respondent police and the petition is under enquiry.

4.In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed consider the representation of petitioner dated 25.06.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period 2/4

of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
