ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner in the post of Village Assistant in Sithamangalam Village in Sl No.2(2) of the second respondent's Notification in Na.Ka.No.A1/583/2020, dated 26.06.2020 based on the petitioner's representation, dated 16.11.2020.

2. Heard Mr.H.Velavadhas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmugaselvan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent issued a notification in Na.Ka.No.A1/583/2020, dated 26.06.2020 calling for applications to the post of Village Assistant. Totally, there are 16 vacancies in the second respondent Taluk. The last date for submitting application was on 27.07.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.17099 of 2020 Certain conditions were imposed and one of the conditions is that Sithamangalam in SL.No.54 is reserved for Backward Class Community (General). Hence, the petitioner, who belongs to Backward Class Community, submitted an application before the second respondent. Thereafter, the petitioner received the letter from the second respondent and attended the interview on 02.09.2020. As per the instructions of the second respondent, the petitioner produced all document before him at the time of interview. Thereafter, the second respondent has not issued any appointment letter to the petitioner for the past two months period. Therefore, the petitioner apprehending that some malpractice is going on the recruitment process and some other persons will be appointed for the post of Village Assistant, for which the petitioner is an eligible candidate to be appointed, the petitioner is before this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner received a call letter and attended the interview and sofar no result has been published and there is no material to substantiate the allegation of the petitioner with regard to the suppression of facts and some malpractice is going on.

In view of the submissions made by both sides, filing of writ petition at this stage without even publishing any result by the respondent and only for the apprehension of the petitioner the writ petition cannot be entertained. Therefore, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
