The petitioner is accused No.3 in Crime No.123 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent Police. The said case was registered for the offences under Sections 189(2), 126(2), 296(b), 324(4), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS 2023 and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the Special Sessions Court for Exclusive Trial of (PCR Cases) under SC and ST Act at Ramanathapuram, to consider his bail application on the same day of his surrender. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed to grant the relief sought for that the victim has sustained head injury and the 2/5
accused No.9 is still in custody. Hence, he prayed to dismiss this petition. 3.Considering the nature of injury sustained by the victim, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for in this petition.
