Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, he has made a representation before the first respondent namely, the District

Registrar, Theni District, to cancel various settlement deeds, sale deeds and mortgage deeds. According to the petitioner the subject property belongs to him and the third party has no interest over the said property and hence, he has made the representation before the District Registrar. Since no action has been taken by the first respondent, he has filed this Writ Petition.

4. Since the petitioner's representation, dated 08.09.2016, is pending with the first respondent without any disposal, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass suitable orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
