PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records connected with the detention order passed in M.H.S.Confdl.No.109/2022 dated 28.06.2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent detaining the detenu as "Drug Offender", Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 as a GOONDA and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely, Kannan, aged 25 years, son of Kumar, now detained at the 4th respondent, Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the detention order, passed in M.H.S.Confdl.No.109/2022 dated 28.06.2022 by the second respondent, has been revoked by the Advisory Board vide G.O.Rt.No.5298 dated 18.08.2022.
