ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, directing the respondents to conclude the enquiry proceedings in Na.Ka.No.612/2018/B6 and pass final orders on the petitioner's petition dated 21.01.2019 within a stipulated time.

2.Heard Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.With regard to the petitioner's request dated 21.01.2019, to cancel the sub divided patta issued in respect of the property in S.No.201/10B1, new survey No.32/1 situated at Melaveli village, Thanjavur District submitted to the 1st respondent, an enquiry notice had been given by the 2nd respondent on 08.02.2019, 01.04.2019 and 30.04.2019. Pursuant to all these notices issued by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner appeared at the 2nd respondent office and gave his explanation and even after completing the enquiry, no report seems to have been submitted by the 2nd respondent and no order has been passed by the 1st respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) 16961/2019 Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court,. 4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader, who would submit that, pursuant to the enquiry conducted by the 2nd respondent, a report would be given to the 1st respondent based on which, the 1st respondent would pass final order, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5.Having regard to the said submissions made by both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction:

"The respondents, especially, the 2nd respondent shall forward the report pursuant to the enquiry conducted by him in respect of the subject matter referred to above, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to the 1st respondent, who, on receipt of the same, shall pass final order, within a period of 6 weeks thereafter. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
