RESPONDENTS/DEFENDANTS PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a direction, directing the District Munsif, Thanjavur to dispose the suit in O.S.No.138 of 2004 dated 29.03.2004 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. ORDER : This Civil Revision Petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the letter received from the District Munsif, Thanjavur, dated 11.01.2019 in D.No.27/2019 and the grounds of petition, earlier order of this Court and the material papers of the petition and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.A.ARUN PRASAD, Advocate for the petitioner, this court made the following order:- The matter has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time'.

2.This Court by order dated 08.10.2018 in the Civil Revision Petition, has directed the learned District Munsif, Thanjavur, to dispose of the suit in O.S. No.138 of 2004, within a period of two months.

dated 11.01.2019 has requested extension of time stating that the suit was posted for defendants side arguments on 12.12.2018 and in the mean time, they filed a memo for transfer of O.P. No.169 of 2018, which is pending before the Principal District Court, Thanjavur and the fourth plaintiff changed his counsel by filing vakalath on 08.01.2019.

4.Hence, time is extended for three months and the learned District Munsif, Thanjavur, is directed to dispose of the suit within three months from the date of receipt of this order. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS-I) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar (CS-I) TO THE DISTRICT MUNSIF, THANJAVUR.
