The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to issue equivalence certificate certifying that the degree of M.Sc., in Environmental Biotechnology is equivalent to M.Sc., Zoology by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2019 submitted through proper channel.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent. 3.In order to obtain the equivalence certificate for M.Sc., Environmental Biotechnology, which is equivalent to M.Sc., Zoology, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents. In view of the limited prayer that has now been sought for, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2019 and take appropriate decision in accordance with law and as per the Rules and regulations thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
