ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) Alleging that the petitioner's wife aged about 19 years old was missing since 13.06.2025 and despite registering the case by the respondent police, no action having been taken in this regard, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.325 of 2025 was registered under "Woman Missing". During the investigation, the missing person was traced at her friend's place in Rajapalayam. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the missing person is produced before this Court.

5.During the enquiry, she submitted that she is studying First Year B.A English at Xavier College, Palayamkottai and that her parents had forced her to

marry one Ganesan and hence, she left the house on her own volition and she was staying with her friend. However, she expressed her willingness to go along with her mother, if her mother assures to allow her to continue with her education. 6.The mother, Isakkiammal is also present before this Court and submitted that she is ready to send her daughter to the College. The petitioner is not present.

7.Recording the aforesaid submission, finding that the missing person is not in illegal detention of anybody and that she had expressed her willingness to go along with her mother. The Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. [A.D.J.C., J.] & [R.P., J.] 23.06.2025 NCC:Yes/No Index:Yes/No Ns
