The petitioner was originally working as a Staff Nurse at the Government Hospital, Thiruvaiyaru. She resigned from service on 06.06.2004. That was accepted by the first respondent by his proceedings in Ref.No.50783/NI/3/04, dated 24.06.2005.

Thereafter, the petitioner made a claim for pension. It is stated that the second respondent has forwarded the same to the first respondent, but the first respondent has not passed any final order so far. Therefore, she has come up with this Writ Petition.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the issue will be decided by the first respondent within a period of eight weeks. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is allowed with a direction to the first respondent to pass a final order in this matter within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
