Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents 1 & 2 particularly for second respondent to provide protection for the life and limb to the petitioner her family members, her labours in leading their life at Pudukottai District, Manamelkudi Taluk, Karkamalam Village forthwith and also direct to provide police protection for their life and limb while they are engaged in agricultural operations in their land.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide protection for the life and limb to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner her family members, her labours in leading their life at Pudukottai District, Manamelkudi Taluk, Karkamalam Village

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's husband is working in Singapore and she is taking care of her daughter. He would further submit that her brother's -in-law is causing life threat to the petitioner taking advantage of the fact that she is living alone and her husband is working in a different country

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that they have received complaint given by the petitioner and are conducting enquiry and if the police are convinced about the potential life threat to the petitioner by the accused persons, necessary protection will be given to the petitioner and action will be taken against the persons who are causing threat in accordance with law.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry and take immediate action in accordance with law. 5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
