ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents-1 & 2.

2. Against the order passed by the second respondent, dated 20.05.2011, the petitioner filed a statutory appeal before the first respondent in the year 2011 itself. Since the same was not disposed of, the petitioner has filed a representation before the first respondent on 04.06.2016. Even then, the first respondent did not pass any orders. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. In the above circumstances, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in Na.Ka.A1/4964/2011, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the rival claimants if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
