Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2017 to conduct the festival along with Vallithirumanam Drama on 09.06.2017 and an Adal Padal program on 10.06.2017 and a Karakattam program on 11.04.2017 in connection with Puravi Eduppu Festival of Sri Ayyanarswamy, Sri Chinnakaruppasamy, Sri Pannaikaruppusamy and Sri Andichamy Arulmigu Temple at P.Thethempatti Village in Natham Taluk of Dindigul District.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programmes in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 25.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
