O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue a non traceable certificate to the petitioner in respect of lost original partition deed dated 06.07.2000 registered as document No.1586/2000 on the file of Sub Registrar, Aranthangi, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 07.03.2023 and subsequent representation, dated 23.06.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given representations dated 07.03.2023 and 23.06.2023, before the respondent for missing of his Doc.No.1586/2000 dated 06.07.2000 registered at the office of the Sub-Registrar, Aranthangi, but no action was taken as on date and hence, he has also sent a representation to the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 2/5

respondents would submit that the petitioner's representations dated 07.03.2023 and 23.06.2023 are pending.

Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the same by following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.
