ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition with a grievance that his application filed for return of his vehicle bearing Reg No.TN48B 5123 has been returned by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur that he is not having any document for ownership.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has purchased the vehicle bearing Reg.No.TN48B 5123 from one Sakthivel on 09.01.2025. However, this vehicle has been seized by the respondent Police in Crime No.80 of 2025 on 24.02.2025. He further submits that the said Sakthivel has not transferred RC Book in his name. Therefore, the petitioner seeks a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur to number his application.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. The petitioner has filed an application for return of his vehicle bearing Reg.No.TN48B 5123 without any document. Therefore, this 2/4

Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to change the ownership of vehicle in his name and thereafter, to renew the application, or, otherwise, to move an application through the previous owner, who sold the vehicle to him.
