ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.470 of 2018, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 120(B), 420, 465 and 468 of IPC on 19.09.2018. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that even after a lapse of 3 years, there is no progress in the investigation and the final report has been filed so far.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that within 3 months, investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned court.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13783 of 2021 4.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file a find report within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.

5.This petition is allowed, accordingly.
