ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate Police Protection to the petitioner's life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation dt 22.07.22

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner purchased the property by way of sale deed from Ponnarasi, W/o.Manoharan on 31.10.2006 in Vannikkudi Village, Manamadurai Division, Sivagangai District in Achchangulam Survey No.88/2, New Survey No.427/3 to an extent of about 840 square feet, which was registered in the year 2006 in document No.859/2006 in Abiramam Sub Registrar Office. Now the third respondent on 16.07.2022 tried to interfere into the possession of the property while constructing a new building. Earlier the petitioner has also filed a Original Suit in O.S.No.31 of 2018 before the District Munsif Court, Kamuthi for proving the petitioner's title and possession of property. Now the third respondent is giving trouble, hence he has filed the present petition for police protection.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2022 is still pending with the second respondent in CSR No.212 of 2022.

4. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
