ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned order dated 13.05.2024 and consequently direct the first respondent to issue a Destitute Widow Certificate to the petitioner based on the recommendation of the other respondents.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has filed a counter, wherein it is stated that the petitioner is having two daughters and they are working as Nurses and that the petitioner herself is working under the 100 Days Scheme. Further, the petitioner is having joint patta for natham lands in S.No.679/52 and 679/54 via patta No.223 as well as joint patta for agricultural lands in S.No.486/2 and 486/3 vide patta No.1222. Moreover, the petitioner's income is more than Rs.48,000/-. As per the eligibility criteria, the income limit for availing a Destitute Widow Certificate is Rs.48,000/-. 2/5

3. Since the petitioner's income is above the prescribed limit, the impugned order is legally valid. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition. .

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
