Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to provide water facilities to the street peoples particularly Sinthamani Street, Apparasamy Street and Kasim Colony and to closure of the opening of Oodai constructed in Apparasamy Street based on the representation given by the petitioner on 05.02.2017.

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The writ petitioner has filed the writ petition seeking a direction for providing water facilities to the local residents. 2.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel for the Tirunelveli Corporation produced a copy of the communication in Na.Ka.No.,1-115-2017 dated 04 July 2017 setting out the steps taken by the local body to redress the grievances projected by the writ petitioner.

3.In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
