For Petitioners : Mr.T.Padmanabhan For Respondent : Mr.S.Chandrasekar Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R The Writ Petitions have been filed by the petitioners for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders forthwith on the petitioners' applications dated 20.09.2016 for the grant of 5+1 Seater Auto Rickshaw Permit (Share Auto) to the petitioners herein. 2.Heard, Mr.T.Padmanabhan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ petitions itself taken
up for final disposal.
4. The grievance of the petitioners is that on 20.09.2016, the petitioners have submitted applications in Form CCPA along with necessary fee for the grant of contract carriage share auto permit and the same is pending. Hence, the petitioners filed the present Writ petitions seeking the above prayer.
5. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioners has enclosed an order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)Nos.8129 to 8138 of 2016, dated 26.04.2016, in the typed set of papers.
6. Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances of this case and without going into the merits of this case, the respondent is directed to consider the applications of the petitioners dated 20.09.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
