PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his complaint dated 01.06.2026.

ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondent police to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members based upon his complaint dated 01.06.2026.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents herein with regard to the Poojariship of a Private Temple and in such circumstances, the police cannot be directed to interfere in the said dispute. It is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum. In case, if there if any threat to the life and limb of the petitioner apart from the temple issue, he can very well give a specific complaint to the second respondent police. In such an event, the police are directed to consider the said request.
3. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition disposed of.
