ORDER

This petition is filed seeking quashment of CC No.229 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur. 2.Even though this matter is listed today under the caption for withdrawal, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in earlier occasion, the petitioner has filed Crl.O.P(MD) No.2273 of 2020 before this Court and by order dated, 12.02.2020, this Court directed the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. It appears that thereafter due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, it could not be concluded, as directed by this Court. Hence, this petition.

3.Registry is directed to verify as to whether any letter has been received from the concerned Judicial Magistrate, seeking extension of time, if it is not received, a direction is issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur to comply with the earlier order of this Court.
