ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 not to reserve the Office of Chairman of Paravai Town Panchayat for Scheduled Tribes(General) category, by considering the representation sent by the Petitioner, dated 19.4.2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent No. 2 and Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1,3 to 6.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.Though a larger relief has been sought for in the Writ Petition, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 19.4.2017 in the light of judgement passed in W.P.No.33984 of 2016 and pass orders on the same, as expeditiously as possible.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
