ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to transfer the name of the patta in the Petitioner's name in respect of land in Resurvey Nos.504/1B and 505/3A situated at Panchalamkurichi Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District by considering the representation of the Petitioner dated 3.3.2017. 2.Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.Though a larger relief has been sought for in the Writ Petition, considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, without going into the merits of the case,

this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 03.03.2017 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
