Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. What is under challenge is the order revoking the petitioner's suspension which is in favour of the petitioner. It is therefore not amenable to challenge at his instance. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that in the subject column containing summary recitals, the order give an indication that the petitioner has been made liable for the lost ticket books. Recovery has already been started.

3. I make it clear that without passing any formal order of recovery, in consonance with due process, no recovery from the petitioner's salary can be made. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
