This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property in Survey No.779/A1A/7B measuring to an extent of 67 1⁄2 cents out of 1 acre 35 cents. But, Patta has been issued in favour of other name. In the above circumstances, he made a representation before the second respondent/Revenue Divisional

Officer, to issue the Patta in his name.

4. Since the second respondent is not the competent authority, the petitioner should approach the third respondent/Tahsildar to make the correction. Hence, the petitioner is directed to file an application before the third respondent, to make necessary correction. The third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry, and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner and other rival claimants, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the petitioner filed the application within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
