Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to accord necessary permission and to award adequate police protection for conducting "Adal Padal Kalai Nigalchi" which is scheduled to be taken place on 10.08.2019 in connection with the temple festival of Arulmigu Sankareshwari Amman Thirukovil Situated at Veeravanchi Nagar, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2019.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to accord necessary permission and to award adequate police protection for conducting "Adal Padal Kalai Nigalchi" which is scheduled to be taken place on 10.08.2019 in connection with the temple festival of Arulmigu Sankareshwari Amman Thirukovil, Situated at Veeravanchi Nagar, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2019.

2. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) takes notice for the respondents.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission to conduct the"Adal Padal Kalai Nigalchi" which is scheduled to be taken place on 10.08.2019 in connection with the temple festival of Arulmigu Sankareshwari Amman Thirukovil, Situated at Veeravanchi Nagar, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District, the petitioner made a representation on 13.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
