COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to quash the proceeding in D.V.C.No.2 of 2022 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Trichy and the case in Crime No.6 of 2023 on the file of the 1st Respondent.
2. These cases arises out of matrimonial discord. The parties have moved on and decided to resolve the matter amicably. The husband, namely Karthikeyan, and the wife, namely B.Brindha, have decided to separate, and a total sum of Rs.40,00,000/- (Rupees Forty Lakhs only) is promised to be given to the respondent/wife by the petitioner/husband. Out of the said amount, today a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Lakhs only) is paid to the respondent/wife by the petitioner/husband before this Court by way of three demand drafts.
3. The demand drafts bearing Nos.463445, 463385 and 463446 drawn on State Bank of India, Korattur Branch and the same are handed over to the respondent/wife/B.Brindha in open Court, and she has also accepted the same.

4. It is agreed between the parties that the balance sum of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) will be paid on the day when the Court passes the decree on mutual consent. Both the parties seem to be understand the import of the compromise.
5. In view thereof, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The case, in Crime No.6 of 2023 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Cantonment All Women Police Station, Trichy, and the proceeding, in D.V.C.No.2 of 2022 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Trichy, shall stand quashed. The connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
