O R D E R

The petitioner is presently working as Grade II Police Constable in the Tamil Nadu Special Police VI Battalion, Madurai. His grievance is that though he is eligible for being transferred to Armed Reserve, the same has not been considered so far. In this regard, he has also made a representation dated 30.09.2016, but the same has also not been responded.

transferred from the Tamil Nadu Special Police to Armed Reserve. The said statement is recorded.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is allowed with a direction to the respondents to transfer the petitioner from the Tamil Nadu Special Police Personnel to Armed Reserve within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
