For Petitioner : Mr.R.Prakash For R1 to R3 : Mr.SS.Madhavan Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide suitable protection to the petitioner and his family members including his parents.
2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a practising advocate and there are disputes between the petitioner and the respondent No.4, basing on which the respondent No.4 has attacked the petitioner, on which a case has been registered in Crime No.167 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 342, 323, 307 and 506(2) IPC. Similarly, another FIR has been registered against the respondent No.4 in Crime No.141 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 342, 294(b), 323, 324, 427 and 506(ii) IPC.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that earlier also the respondent No.4 has attacked the mother of the petitioner, on which a case has been registered. It is also submitted that in all there are 10 cases registered against the respondent No.4 and since the respondent No.4 has been threatening the petitioner and his family members, the petitioner sought for a direction to the respondent police to provide suitable protection. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that on account of the property dispute between the petitioner and the respondent No.4, disputes arose between them and on a complaint given by the respondent No.4 against the petitioner, one criminal case has been registered and one CSR has been registered.
It is further submitted that only yesterday, summon has been issued to the petitioner to appear before the police concerned to consider his request for providing suitable protection, however, the petitioner has requested time to appear before the respondent police tomorrow ie., 15.07.2023. It is also submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.
will decide as to whether the police protection can be given or not to the petitioner and other connective aspects.
5.By recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Petition is disposed of.
