ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue Writ of Mandamus by directing the third respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of holding an enquiry.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that at the instance of the 4th respondent, the 3rd respondent police is subjecting the petitioner to harassment. Seeking indulgence of this Court, this petition is filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate, on instruction, submitted that enquiry is pending in this regard.
4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. The third respondent is directed to put the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent on notice under Section 64 BNSS and conclude the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy 2/4
of this order. However, it is made clear that in the name of conducting enquiry, the petitioner should not be harassed unnecessarily by the 3rd respondent. He should be required to appear before the respondent police only on issuance of summons.
