ORDER

Heard Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmugaselvanm, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Though the petitioner has sought for larger relief, now he restricts his claim to the extent of directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2020, wherein the petitioner has requested the respondents to grant regular time scale of pay of Rs.4,800-10,000+10,300+1,300(Grade pay) instead of special time scale of pay of Rs.1,300-3,000+300(Grade pay) to the petitioner in the post of Scavenger Sanitary Worker based on the orders of the Government issued in G.O.(Ms) No.50, School Education (Pa.Ka.4(1)) Department, dated 08.03.2019 issued to similarly situated person.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner has made a representation on 10.11.2020 addressing his grievances with regard to the fixation of the time scale of pay and the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law by the first respondent.

5.In view of the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2020 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
