O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, as against the respondents 2 and 3 not to interfere in a civil dispute.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction from the respondent police submits that the petitioner and the fourth respondent are tenant and landlord and there is a civil dispute pending between them. Therefore, the petitioner has lodged five complaints as against the fourth respondent which were regsitered by the respondent police in Crime Nos.184 of 2022, 247 of 2022, 15 of 2023, 98 of 2024, 140 of 2024 and 401of 2023. He further submits that the fourth respondent has also lodged a complaint as against the petitioner herein and a case has 2/5

been registered in Crime No.15 of 2023.

3.This Court is of the view though the petitioner claims that the respondent police are interfering in the civil dispute, the petitioner appears to have lodged five complaints as against the landlord and the same was duly registered. The respondent police is not supposed to interfere in a dispute which is of civil nature.
