COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Today, (ie., 07.12.2021) when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that no case has been registered against the petitioners and only the enquiry is pending against the petitioners. Now only the entire case file has been received by the District Crime Branch, Sivagangai from District Crime Branch, Theni.

2.In the earlier occasion, on 17.09.2021, this Court specifically directed the petitioners to appear before the respondent police and co-operate with investigation and complete the enquiry process. If any cognizable offence is made out, during the course of enquiry, they may proceed in accordance with law and report also sought to be filed within one week. Even though, in this case District Crime Branch, Theni was impleaded as respondent, now enquiry is undertaken by the District Crime Branch, Sivagangai. 3.Since, no case has been registered against the petitioner, the question of anticipatory bail does not arise at this stage. If the petitioner finds any trouble, he can work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings. Till then the interim anticipatory bail shall stand extended.

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
