This writ petition has been filed, seeking a writ of Certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 9.9.2016 passed by the first respondent, confirming the order dated 9.5.2016 in MP Na No.759/2016/A1 of the second respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 07.09.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 18.09.2017 under the caption 'for dismissal'.

3. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner either in person or through Counsel, despite the fact that the matter is specifically listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
