ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.352 of 2010 on the file of the respondent police within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.352 of 2010, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 468, 448, 294 (b), 506(ii) and 120(b) IPC on 09.04.2010 against four named accused persons. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after a lapse of 11 years, there is no progress in the investigation.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent would submit that due to missing of some records, they are not in position to complete the investigation and they have also filed application before the concerned Court seeking copies of the documents and other particulars.

4.Considering the oldness of the crime, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.13608 of 2020 this order, by taking effective steps and file the final report before the concerned Court. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.

5.This petition is disposed of, accordingly.
